CDL Truck Driver
Builders Supply Company is hiring CDL truck drivers – Class A or B license. Applicants must be able to efficiently operate manual transmissions. Company deliveries are confined mostly to a 70 mile radius of Lancaster, so no OTR driving is required. Work begins at 6:15A and typically ends by mid-afternoon. We ship building material to home sites mainly in the Charlotte market. Company operates semis, 10 wheel flatbed trucks with forklifts attached and vans. Family owned business with good working conditions. Operated from same location for 100+ years.
$500 hiring bonus after first 90 days successfully completed. $2,000 safety bonus paid in December of each year for drivers that qualify (most do).
Salary based on hourly rate, incentive rate and safety bonus.

Forklift Operator/Material Loader
Builders Supply is hiring forklift operators to gather and load lumber orders. Steady work with hours typically ranging from 6:30 AM until around 4:30 PM. Great work environment with a family-owned company in business for 110+ years. Pay is a combination of hourly and incentive, but expectation is that one will make at least $17.50 to $18.50 per hour. ($15.50 per hour plus $2.00 to $3.00 per hour in incentive pay) Potential of a raise after 90 days based on performance.

Responsibilities and Duties
Job consists of working up house packages of lumber and OSB and loading it with forklifts onto our trucks. Job also includes unloading incoming freight from trucks and railcars.
Qualifications and Skills
Experience with construction materials is plus, but not a necessity. At least one to two years operating forklifts is beneficial.
